I love any work of art that focuses around what morality is and who gets to decide that. Chief among them in my opinion being Watchmen, where it breaks down law, vigilante justice, savior complexes, godhood, and more without ever actually giving you a statement beyond “Who watches the watchmen?” Other examples of stories that explore morality in a similar way are Hamlet, Heart Of Darkness+its derivatives, TLOU I+II, Better Call Saul, the Star Wars prequels (more specifically Clone Wars and ROTS), and Disco Elysium. Any medium works for me, I just love these kinds of stories

Have you ever heard of Ursula K. LeGuin’s The Child and the Shadow? It’s really deep in the idea of not having light without dark.
