Hey guys, I am looking for a book in which a detective is invinted to a party, like a murder mystery party and is forced to investigate the murder.
The book should take place in house or a relatively closed off area and the detective isn’t really supposed to be there.
Something like Glass Onion.

“**And then there were none**” by Agatha Christie. There’s not a detective, but it’s REALLY similar to Glass Onion (in fact I think they were heavily inspired by it for the movie). A bunch of people are invited to a mysterious rich man’s island and they’ll start dying following the verses of a poem that’s everywhere in the island. It’s very short and easy to read, and the resolution is way better than Glass Onion’s.
