Hey All,
I just finished reading the **Luminous Dead** by Caitlin Starling, loved it and I want more! This book features 2 characters primarily, one that is descending into a cave, and another that is watching over her from a command station and providing direction and later on encouragement.

I’m looking for another book that has a similar character dynamic, an unreliable lifeline (similar to an unreliable narrator). A character that has no way of validating the vital information they need to rely on in order to survive.
All suggestions are welcome!
The more unhinged, the better.
