Am I the only one that gets distracted by page numbers sometimes? there will be times where I’m very invested in a story but then I catch a glimpse of the page number and I begin to focus more on “what page am i on” or “how many more pages until this book ends.” This really annoys me because it completely breaks my immersion and there’s nothing I can do about it since page numbers are practically unavoidable. If anyone can offer any tips on how to not focus on page numbers so much, that’d be much appreciated!

oh dude… i feel this. i’ve recently gotten a kindle (and i’m obsessed with it) and i like to have it show me how much time is left in the chapter i’m reading. it… is such an unhealthy thing to do because i truly do obsess over it but i CAN’T HELP IT
