What’s the best watergate ‘explainer’?

I (42M) know the very basic facts about Watergate, but I'm mostly interested in what it was really like to live through, how long it took, how the facts unfolded, and how it was received at the time. So something "historical fiction-y" but also fact-filled is good, but I don't want to read a history textbook about it.
