My dad (60) had recently gotten in to reading for the first time in his life and seems to gravitate towards non fictional accounts of people surviving in foreign prisons. Similar to the TV Series 'Banged Up Abroad' which is about people recounting their experience of getting caught smuggling drugs and ending up in foreign prisons.
I don't know the titles of books he's been reading, as he's just getting old paperbacks from swap meets, but I would love for him to experience what it's like when a book absolutely blows your mind. Any suggestions?
