Every wedding anniversary, I gift my wife 10 books to read before we close out the year. I usually spend a ton of time researching the book before I add it to my list. But this year I have fallen very far behind. As a nonreader, here is what I have come up with:
-
Belinda Blinked by Rocky Flintstone
-
The Reluctant Dom by Lesli Richardson
-
The Lady and the Orc by Finley Fenn
-
The Books of Babel series by Josiah Bancroft
-
Butcher and Blackbird by Brynne Weaver
-
A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor by Kathryn A. Moon
-
The Two Week Roommate by Roxie Noir
-
The Adventures of Almina al-Sirafi by S. A. Chakraborty
-
Poppy War by R.F. Kuang
I realize a good chunk of these are not romance, but I usually try to get a healthy mix even though romance is her favorite.
I need to add one more book, but am struggling with time and selection. Please tear down any of my choices above if you think I should put to a DNR list.
I always include an obscene book for her to read which she enjoys what I come up with. The Lady and The Orc was that choice for this year.
Thanks for taking the time to read!
