Could be horror or paranormal or ghosty/haunted, but no fantasy elements, if that makes sense. Kind of like The Shining or Pet Sematary or Hill House. I have a scary book craving that I can’t seem to satisfy. Even non-fiction is cool, I just want to be terrified.
