I just finished reading an amazing series (forget the name) about Nino and Kiara. It’s a mafia smutty romance, where Kiara was raped as a child and Nino is extremely tender with her and emphasizes consent as a result. She was terrified of men and slowly learned to trust again.
I’m hoping for more novels that fit this description. Where the FMC was raped in her past (does not need to be described in the book, though it can) and a smutty romance ensues with emphasis on tenderness. I prefer modern novels but historical fiction is okay too.
