Just blazed through Salem’s Lot and finishing a James Baldwin book – need something lighthearted and easy!

Hey all, would love ideas for something really easy and lighthearted of a read after two intense books a bit jarring in style too.

I need some smooth light cream of a book with some joy, maybe some humor, delight, and with a nice message or optimistic vibe/theme.

Leaning towards something contemporary but open to ideas, thank you!
