I love memoirs. Especially about people who have dealt with addiction. Some books I’ve really enjoyed in this area are tweak: growing up on methamphetamines and heroin diaries which is about Nikki six from Motley Crue. I also just read tender is the flesh which isn’t like the last two books I mentioned but I also really liked that. Basically books that are kind of fucked up. Any suggestions?

Maybe try Crank by Ellen Hopkins. I think there are multiple books in the series, but this is the first one.
