A book for me (34M) to read with my teen daughter (15)

She has already said no to Harry Potter, I feel like that’s everyone’s go to answer.

I enjoy dystopian sci fi’s and fantasy. She enjoys fantasy as well. She’s very artistic. Draws, paints, etc but rarely reads. I’m away for work for a couple months so if it’s a series even better. I would like to read along a book with her To give us something to talk about out and connect over.

She watches A LOT of action oriented anime. She’s not really in to romance or drama.
