Hi there – I’m in search of a good book at the cross section of nutrition and athletics / athletic performance.
I’m mostly interested in something that explains the science (at a high level) backing the concepts they are talking about. And ideally a book that ties eating in a healthy way to athletic performance (pre / during / post)
Not really looking for a cookbook, although I wouldn’t be opposed to the book including snack or meal ideas. But – definitely looking for more of a reader than a cook book. . Also not really looking for a specific dieting agenda, more so just a “whole foods” type approach, but would be open to vegetarian info also.
