I just finished The Shape Shifter by Tony Hillerman, and thought it was pretty boring. My Aunt loves him, has read all his books, and gave me this copy to "get me started." According to Goodreads, he's written 197 books! Did I start with a bad one? Are any of them paced faster than The Shape Shifter? Basically, should I spend my time trying any others?
