    1. You might want to check out *The Postmortal* by Drew Magary. It’s a dystopian novel that explores the societal and personal consequences of humans living indefinitely, touching on themes like overpopulation, economic inequality, and the breakdown of social structures. It’s not non-fiction, but it gives an interesting perspective on what could happen if humans stopped aging.

This reminds me of the Love, Death, Robots episode ”Pop squad“, which is based on a short story by Paolo Bacigalupi. He’s a sci-fi author and this story was also published in the collection *Pump Six and Other Stories*.

    3. People are suggesting novels. Did you mean fiction or non-fiction as in actual studies and analysis? If the latter, The Age of Aging by George Magnus is very on topic though some years old now.

This is generally discussed a lot in the indie news media that I watch in the UK. ‘Culture War’ politics has people screaming a lot of anti-immigrant rhetoric. Serious discussion about immigration necessitates talking about housing, falling birth rates, who will generate taxes and care for the elderly etc. Pro-natalism in the current era might also be a topic for you to look out for.
