Hi! I'm looking for book suggestions for my dad. He is 41 days sober. He's been loving the big AA book and I want to send him a couple other reads. They don't have to be about addiction specifically- just motivational. What books have people found helpful when pushing through tough times in life? Thanks!

Fearless by Eric Blehm is the biography of a navy SEAL who struggled with addiction, which he ultimately overcame. It’s really inspiring.

    2. That’s amazing 41 days is such a big milestone! For something that isn’t directly about addiction but still inspiring, I’d recommend the *Mer Chronicles* trilogy (*Updrift, Breakwater & Outrush*) by Errin Stevens. It’s a fantasy series that focuses on personal growth, overcoming challenges, and finding your way, with some adventure and romance mixed in. It could be a nice escape while still offering some positive themes.

    3. “Night Came With Many Stars” by Simon Van Booy. It’s fiction but many may be able see themselves in one of the characters … and a character they want to become.
