I plan to buy some books in the near future and would like to find some sci-fi novels that are either short (20-30 chapters) or thought-provoking (like classic science fiction is). In terms of reading difficulty, something between Neuromancer and 2001: A Space Odyssey is preferable.
Books I've Already Read:
- 2001: A Space Odyssey (Arthur C. Clarke)
- Neuromancer (William Gibson)
- Mass Effect: Revelation, Ascension, and Retribution (Drew Karpyshyn)
- Star Wars: Darth Bane – Path of Destruction (Drew Karpyshyn)
Books I Own But Haven't Yet Read (Or DNF):
- The Martian Chronicles (Ray Bradbury)
- Stranger in A Strange Land (Robert A. Heinlein) [DNF because of the writing]
- Star Wars: Darth Bane – Rule of Two, Dynasty of Evil (Drew Karpyshyn)
Thanks in advance for suggestions!
