I LOVE books where the landscape is almost its own character, where the backdrop and the elements draw you in as much as the story. I read some set in the Pacific Northwest of the US, for example, and they really took me there.
Any contemporary/ literary fiction books you’d recommend where you feel you are in a new landscape/country/world WITH the characters?
