    Young reader here!
I love reading but I am stuck right now. I didn't really enjoy any of the currently popular books. I really like it when the books make you feel something, when they wake up your emotions. My two absolute favorites of all time are "Bad Girl" by Mario Vargas Llosa and "The life before us" by Romain Gary. I just finished reading the Neapolitan novels by Elena Ferrante (and I really enjoyed it!), but my favorite work by Ferrante is probably The lying life of adults or The lost daughter. Now I am about to finish reading Alberto Moravia's Boredom, which was interesting and pleasant to read. I also like the style of Diego De Silva's books. I am more into classics but I tried reading something modern. Before that I was very big on realists and decadents. Especially french realism, Zola in particular. When it comes to the decadent movement, my favorite author is Oscar Wilde.
I am looking for new suggestions of books that give the same "vibe" as the ones I listed. Something that is not heavy, but not superficial. I like emotional books, the ones that make you cry a little bit. I would love some suggestions 💓
