For the longest time i've only ever been a one at a time kinda person however recently some of my paperbacks have been simply too big to carry with me on my commutes to work etc so I got myself a kindle.

However I don't want to pay extra for a book on my kindle that i'm currently reading in paper version, so i started to download other kindle books instead, primarily kindle unlimited books since now I have a free trial.

So now i have two books on the go, my paperback that I read at home, and my kindle books i read when out and about, and i'm not sure how to feel about it, if i like having two books at a time.

I know some people who read upwards of 6 books at one time, which im baffled by! What about you?

Well, going to school I learned to read multiple books at the same time if I need to. Right now though I usually just read 1-3 books at the same time, depending on how demanding each is. Sometimes I find that if I’m getting bored with a book, that’s when I start another at the same time.

I’m a slow reader, and I often take long breaks.

So while I don’t read two novels at the same time in the sense of switching between chapters or anything like that, I will start a book, put it down after reading such-and-such many chapters, start reading another book, finish it, then pick up the first book again and finish it.

Your situation makes sense! I just do carry around physical books when I’m on the go, though, so I don’t run into that problem.
