Looking for books where two people in love are incompatible but not in a toxic way. No deaths or illnesses please. Preferably adult characters, but open to YA as well.
I want stories of people who try hard and are good people that want to make it work, but something exists, internal or external, some incapability, such that they cannot be together or have to split up.
Preferably hetero couples, but open to all types of relationships.
