These all deal with race, with the exception of Lolita which deals with pedophilia, and were written in a time when such prejudices were passed on like common knowledge.
I could add any number of Sherlock Holmes stories, especially the Sign of Four, but Sherlock Holmes was considered especially progressive for the time, so I’ll give it a pass.
