I’m looking for a book that feels like a true ‘cat and mouse game’.

Hi all! Sorry if I do a poor job explaining here, but I’m looking for a book that embodies the ‘cat and mouse game’ trope. I want something that involves conflict between two highly intelligent characters at odds with one another, where it feels like either could come out on top.

Something like Sherlock and Moriarty or L and Light from Death Note.
