Just finished Manacled (senlinyu's dramione fanfic) and it hit what I wanted in angst and yearning. Every detail foreshadowed in part one and came full circle when we got to the flashbacks was everything to me. I was wondering if anyone has any book recs that are similar?
- Looking for a trope where the MC forgets having any sort of relationship with their love interest and the LI is quietly angsting/pining and not revealing anything about it. (It helps if, from the reader's POV, we don't know about it either but fine if not)
- Also open to both of MC and LI forget but find their ways back to each other and remember together (Similar to the Shatter me series!)
- Something I loved about Manacled is how certain actions Draco did in Part One made sense when you read the flashbacks (ie. Draco healing Hermione's eye). Not necessary but it's a plus if there are easter eggs like that to hint about the past between both characters!
- Doesn't have to be enemies to lovers
