Please help Im new to reading stories I only ever read the grand escape and that's about it. I want a fantasy system thats like DnD minus all the magic. Fantasy creatures, dragons, humanoids, the likes. I want something that will inspire me because Im writing a fantasy book and I need the good fantasy juice.
Also please nothing with a male lead, gimme women

Here’s some that have leading women and relatively little (but not 0) magic:
* The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon. There is magic, but it doesn’t feature prominently in the story until later. This is very like D&D, where at the beginning you start at a lower level. The main character, Paks, starts as an ordinary footsoldier, fighting ordinary battles where magic users are just a story the troops tell each other.
* Tread of Angels by Rebecca Roanhorse. I didn’t love this one, but it’s short and features fantasy races. There is magic, but it takes the form of magical devices or inherent vulnerabilities and abilities, not people casting spells.
