Yk the vibes, kind of like: Gossip Girl (the show was trashy, but the vibes flawless) and The oc! Or similar to Jay McInerney’s books! I don’t care what year it was published or if it’s a young adult or adult book, anything is fine. But I prefer if it’s not a crime, mystery or thriller, as I get bored of those.

The Crazy Rich Asians books are really good, IMO! They fit that vibe.
“Blackwater: The Complete Caskey Family Saga” by Michael McDowell often gets labelled “Horror” which is just wrong in my opinion. The story, while it has supernatural elements, is mostly about small town but rich southern women being petty to one another.
