I’m looking for a book or two to take on a week long coach trip on a world war two tour.
I need something that isn’t huge ideally one fiction and one non-fiction.
Fiction wise I considered the Lovecraft works but it’s 1100 pages which is way too big. I like his cosmic horror style and those aesthetics. I’m a fantasy guy generally but I’ve not read much.
Non-fiction politics and history interests me but I don’t want to take anything by anyone who is notably on any side of a politically spectrum.
I know that’s quite vague but any ideas? Happy to give more insight
