As the title says. I just want something that will be great to read in the evening with a fire going and a cup of tea, but also something that will scare the shit out of me. I’m not sure if there is much. Two years ago I read The Terror by Dan Simmons and that had that sort of vibe. It was cold and beautifully written, truly something that haunted me and also made me want to put a sweater on.
