Well, I'm a fantasy fiend. Before the witcher series, I actually didn't read at all much. Last time before was in high-school. Unfortunately required reading did a number on me, because I didn't like any of the books I was forced to read, so I fell out of love with reading.
But reading again has inspired me to even write a book, and I'd like to start making it a daily thing if possible.
I've read the Witcher series, and I've also read Project Hail Mary. Very different in prose but I find myself missing long sheets of descriptions, the occasional political intrigue, the fighting, the magic.
I also have a new library card where I can check out books online. This is very fun for me, but almost too fun because immediately I got overwhelmed. There's so many books out there and I'd hate to buy a book before I've read it, or at least buy it before I know it'll be good.
Also to preface I believe I've tried to read the Hobbit before, but I didn't find it interesting.
Romance honestly isn't needed for me in the book, aswell.
Thanks in advance!
