Basically what it says in the title. My daughter started school in September, and her teachers have been absolutely incredible at helping her settle in quickly, despite being one of the youngest in the class. Our family has always been made up of keen readers, and my daughter's teachers have already done so much to help the kids in class develop a fun and exciting relationship with books. Couldn't be happier!

It's coming up to christmas, and I know at least when I was growing up, it was customary to send in a card and a little something around that time of year as a gift to the teacher. Don't feel comfortable sending my toddler in with a bottle of something, but I recall my mum used to gift books instead. I have some ideas of some lovely non-fiction editions that might be suitable, but would love to hear any suggestions you might have as well? It might be that I leave the gift until the end of summer term next year but I'd like to share my appreciation in some way.
