Reading The Giver together with my middle schooler . He is loving it. We're having lots of good conversation/debates about the world Jonas lives in, what works/doesn't work, what could be better/worse etc. What's another book similar but also not wildly inappropriate lol. I've read 1984, brave new world things like that but those have too much sex, violence and language. So who has something similar to The Giver that's also OK for a middle school. Nothing too over the top with sex and violence
