I read a decent amount of books (anywhere between 25–60) every year. Unfortunately, I find that I can barely remember the plot of most of the books, except for the central overarching theme, even as less as 6 months later.

I've tried the usual methods, such as annotating and active reading, as well as writing goodreads reviews for each. But they don't seem to work too well.

I understand that there are biological and cognitive differences that affect each person's recall abilities, but if you guys have any tips to remember what you read, please do share!

    1. Unfortunately I don’t. I remember that I read them, and I can pick out main points, and remember if I liked it or not. But unless it’s a book that really dug in, it’s gone.
