Does anyone have recommendations of period pieces? (It can be lgbt) I love pride and prejudice, little women, band of brothers (idk if that counts) I just really like old romance novels. Any ideas?

Elizabeth Peters, Amelia Peabody series, early 1900’s Egypt. Wilbur Smith, a few thousand years of Africa/Egypt stories.Ken Follett , Pillars of the Earth and Eye of the Needle.
