A mix of family drama and horror.
I recently read A Cosmology of Monsters by Shaun Hamill and I loved the combined genres of dramatic family saga mixed with monsters. I would love to read more books in this vein. Especially if it spans over several generations.
And when I mean horror I mean like real monsters, not psychological.
