I grew up in Vermont and enjoyed some great spooky books about local legends and creepy tales that were written by a local author (one being Passing Strange by Joseph Citro, if you’re interested). I’d love to read something similar that really digs into a New England region, and bonus if there’s thoughtful commentary and actual research.
