Hey everyone,
I’m after some suggestions on any books that would be an easy and interesting read for a guy (mid 40s) who is wanting to get in to reading.
We are currently living in different countries due to work, so are finding things to do together but not, if that makes sense.
He mentioned wanting to just sit and read but it’s never been something he does. So I was thinking maybe we can do our own wee book club. Probably a bit corny but worth a try.
So does anyone have some nice cruisey, easy read, suggestions that we can both read at the same time? Something that will maybe keep him reaching for it when he gets a chance to sit down?
For a little extra info he’s a sporty guy, has a sensitive heart and loves animals. Has a great sense of humour and probably isn’t scared of a tiny bit of romance if it pops up in a book. Has not read a decent book since high school English. (I’m not even sure we can say those books were decent haha)
