Hi. I've just read this book and I don't love it (to put it politely), but probably it was my fault, and that's what I want to ask you. I read the book, connect with the characters in a few chapters, but I miss some conflict in the story. For me, without conflict you don't have a story. I was waiting for a problem to be solve, but then I realized, at page 200, that it will not be any. Probably is my fault, because I used to read books with "the hero's journey" structure: hero -> conflict -> resolution (to put in three words), but here I don't have that.
So, What are your impressions about the book? Is it only the story of a relation? Why do you like it?
I'm hoping to find in your answers that "something" that make me understand the book.
