Preferably short as well so I could finish it this month. I started college and can’t find much time to read anymore 🙁 I’m reading textbooks all the time now instead.
No Stephen King, I just want something a bit more to the point, simple. Unless there is a King book that is what I’m looking for. I wanted to start Salem’s Lot by Stephen King but I don’t think my brain could handle the complexity in between all the schoolwork, and it’d take too long.
Just something simple and spooky (and short?) for halloween time if there is a book for what I’m looking for! Please no children’s books, unless they’re really spectacular lol. Thanks in advance
Edit to add: “to the point” as in not jumping around timelines/POVs and such, but I am interested if there’s a mysterious element, like where it doesn’t reveal something until the end. Or just mysterious in a way. But doesn’t have to be. Just give me something spooky!!
