I recently read and reread The Weight of Ink by Rachel Kadish and S. (Abrams/Dorst) respectively and I loved the aspects of them that were research-heavy to find hidden answers to historical/literary mysteries but also urgent because of outside(/rival academic) forces. They both reminded me a lot of some parts of National Treasure and I'm desperately looking for more books along those lines, they scratch a very specific itch for me 😄 I'm not really interested in Dan Brown or anything that would be shelved on "mystery/thriller" shelves, I'm hoping for any suggestions way more heavy on the academic/research aspect than the thriller part!
