So I have two credits to use before I can cancel my Audible subscription and I have no idea what to get.
There are books that I want to read…. But I want to READ them, not listen to them.
I’m looking for mainly fun books and I especially like twist surprises and interesting plot lines. The absurd can be fun, but it depends on the author. I just finished the John and Dave series and it’s one of my favourites. I may look at other books by Jason but I only have two credits so stand alone books are what I’m looking for.
I also really enjoy philosophical stories. A book I recently read was A Short Stay in Hell and that was right up my alley. Something that addresses a philosophical problem in an interesting way in story form. There are the standard philosophical fictions written by philosophers that I’m aware of, but all of those are on my “To Read” listen so I’d be looking for something more like A Short Stay in Hell vs All Men are Mortal or The Myth of Sisyphus.
