I've just come across the apparently prolific James A. Michener who seems to typically wrap multiple story lines around particular geography. Never heard of him or his novels.
Are you a fan ? Are is 600+ page novels a good escape ?
Most of the books I consume are via audible and I'm afraid his narrator is particularly robotic and bad – especially for something so long.
Interested to hear form those that have read vs listened. And perhaps a good entry point to the author – if a 850pager is too intimidating to start !
