I like the premise of the Once and Future King but I hate the book. I’m on Chapter 14 and I cannot stand the old-fashioned prose, the weird dialogue or all the references to modern stuff. I want something written in a more modern style. Problem is, all the modern retellings I found are written from the perspectives of neglected characters like Morgana or Guinevere. I still want something from the traditional perspectives of Arthur and his knights. Any suggestions?
