My son is high functioning autism, and has finally got into reading. He’s quite picky about the genre, but I would love to see recommendations that’s male centric with his age group. by YouObjective2974 Related: Look for some books I think I’d enjoy. I like listening to audiobooks when I drive Books for non-native English speakers Looking for novels about warring samurai clans. Any recommendation for books like “the silent patient” “Crazy Ex Girlfriend” TV show – in a book
Ok-Supermarket-1414 on October 4, 2024 7:58 pm it’s hard to recommend w/out knowing what he likes, especially if you say he’s picky about the genre (which we don’t know). My hail mary attempts: YA: Harry Potter Fantasy: The Hobbit + Lord of the Rings, Dune (I disliked the latter with some intensity, but others vouch for it). Thriller: Bourne Identity (only read the first book), The DaVinci code Romance: the betrothed by Manzoni (historical fiction set in 1600s italy), the evening and the morning (if you like pillars of the earth) Dante’s inferno is pretty good, too. not sure what genre that would go under. Comedy: Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy
