“Gentlemen and Players” by Joanne Harris kind of blew my mind

Got a lot more than I signed on for with this book. I went in with no expectations, just wanted some dark-academia-in-autumn with a-little-dose-of-mystery to suit the season and this title had been on my TBR forever.

I. Loved. It. I want to re-read it immediately knowing what I now know.

And I have no one to talk to about it because it's impossible to discuss unless you've read it! It's one of those books that build and build and you don't realize what you're experiencing until the crescendo. I adored Mr. Straitley. I want to go to St Oswald's. I am the villain.

So I need to know, are all Joanne Harris books this good??
