I've been really enjoying non-fiction books about people's personal experiences recently, particularly in the true crime and historical genres. Recently I've read "The School That Escaped The Nazis", "The Happiest Man on Earth", "I'll Be Gone In the Dark" and "The Sinking of RMS Tayleur". I really like history that focuses more on people's personal stories rather than overarching retelling of the events. If anyone has some recommendations in this genre I would be very grateful!
