I love the Princess Diaries books, but I feel like I can't find anything with a similar vibe that isn't YA. The thing I like about the books is that they're relatively light-hearted and focused on a normal girl/young woman's life! I'm looking for something that might have a romantic subplot or might not; I'm not looking for a romance book because I want the plot to be driven more by the female main character's daily life outside of just one relationship. Any suggestions?
