I’ve read and watched a few, but to my knowledge the main one is the enchanted castle workers turning into objects inside the mansion. Is there anything else specific to them? I know the rose is one of the core parts of the story, but it’s importance varies from each telling. In Disney’s, it’s because if the beast doesn’t receive true loves kiss by the last petal drop he will remain a beast forever.
Others have it so that when the Beauty/Belle plucks the final rose in the rose garden it reverts the Beast to their human self/youth. Anyways, I am mainly trying to navigate which is “not” public domain (ie, what the big D holds claim to) vs what is fair game.
