Im looking for a book that’s genuinely fun or interesting to read that involves anything from animals/creatures of any kind, space, or anything else science-related. I also might consider reading it for my independent reading project in English class (I’m in 9th grade, but don’t be concerned about recommending adult books) but I might not.
Some books I’ve considered reading are Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, Raptor Red by Robert. T. Bakker, Dragon’s Egg by Robert L. Forward, All Tomorrows by C.M. Kosemen, and The Martian by Andy Weir.
Which of these options are good, and do you have any other suggestions?
    Thanks

It’s super cheesy and probably not scientifically or archaeologically accurate but I love Timeline by Michael Crichton

jurassic park is cool as hell, also on reddit everyone kind of likes the martian or poject hail mary by hail mary

    3. Goldilocks by Laura Lam, about astronauts on a search for exoplanets in the “Goldilocks zone” of other suns where the temperature is “just right” for human life.

Greg Egan’s book rely on science in a heavy way. Even has a companion website to show the maths.
