Anyone else have a love/hate relationship with this book? As in you love the concept but hate the execution. I’ve read/listened to the audiobook quite a few times over the years. I’ve always been aware of the glaring flaws. But I LOVE the core concept so much that I keep going back to it.
I say all that to say — anyone feel similarly that could offer me some suggestions of something better that might satiate that part of my brain that keeps me going back to this story?

Have you read Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson?
I really enjoyed Warcross and its sequel Wildcard by Marie Lu.
