Read (and loved) your classic weird tales – M R James, Lovecraft, Blackwood, all of that, and enjoyed the BBC audio drama The Lovecraft Investigations, and more recently Tracks and Passenger List (also audio dramas). I'm after something with lots of twists and turns, conspiracies, coverups, all of that – bonus point if there's an occult element.
I would love anything like those audio dramas in book format but not too pulpy which this sort of thing tends to be. Someone once suggested Carrion Comfort but I didn't get on with it at all. Hawksmoor is one of my very favourite books and while not really a conspiracy thriller as such, it's my benchmark for a good occult mystery, if that helps.
